Our friends at Rural Schools Collaborative (RSC) are pleased to announce the 2022-23 Celia B. Godsil Grants in Place Fellows Program. RSC and the selection committee will choose 14 Fellows who will work with their respective students on innovative place-based research projects. Eligibility for this grant is extended to rural classroom teachers who teach in school districts that are located in one of the Rural Schools Collaborative’s 14 regional Hub areas, which include Illinois.
Eligible applicants must propose a place-based education project that will be completed by the end of the 2022-23 school year. Each Godsil Fellow will receive a total award of up to $2,500. Of this amount, $2,000 will be earmarked for the place-based project, and $500 will be provided to the educator as an honorarium.
Applications for the Celia B. Godsil Grants in Place Fellows program must be received by Friday, October 14th, 2022.
